Job Description
Bilingual Medical Assistant (Clinical & Front Office Support)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay:$21/hour–$23/hour
Location: Sarasota, FL
We’re hiring a Medical Assistant to support daily clinical and administrative operations in a busy outpatient setting. This role is safety-sensitive and includes direct patient care, medication administration, and front desk responsibilities. You'll report to the Office Manager and work closely with providers to ensure a positive patient experience.
- Room patients, gather medical history, and record vitals in EMR
- Assist with exams, procedures, injections, and in-office testing
- Draw blood, process specimens, and perform CLIA-waived lab tests
- Provide patient education and support during visits
- Clean and stock exam rooms; maintain medical supply inventory
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and check patients in/out
- Document services and manage records accurately in the EMR
- Assist with onboarding new staff and support other tasks as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred (RMA or CMA)
- At least 1 year of experience in a clinical MA role
- CPR, IV start, and phlebotomy certifications preferred
- Proficient in EMR, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
- Reliable transportation required
- Able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 15 lbs for prolonged periods
- Manual dexterity and vision/hearing within normal range

* Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat and clean.

* Schedule appointments for patients.
* Perform routine laboratory tests and sample analyses.
* Help physicians examine and treat patients, handing them instruments or materials or performing such tasks as giving injections or removing sutures.
* Show patients to examination rooms and prepare them for the physician.
