Engineer, Accounting Technology (New York, NY): Design, develop, and maintain accounting and profit and loss (P&L) systems for commodity trading desks, supporting end-to-end trade flow, position tracking, and daily P&L calculations. Build distributed, service-oriented applications using C#, .NET Core, and WebApi to integrate trade capture systems with accounting platforms. Work with C# development; Microsoft .NET; .NET Core; multi-threaded programming and object-oriented design; building connected, service-oriented applications; REST; WebApi; JSON; Agile development processes and sprint planning; database systems; and DevOps, including JIRA, Git, build automation, deployment automation, and unit testing.
