Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Medical Billing & Insurance Verification Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for verifying patient insurance coverage, ensuring accurate billing. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of insurance policies, billing procedures, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:

• Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits prior to services
• Calculate out of pocket expenses
• Accurately enter and update patient insurance information in the system
• Submit claims and ensure timely billing
• Review and resolve claim denials and discrepancies
• Communicate with insurance companies regarding claims and coverage
• Work closely with front desk and clinical staff to ensure accurate information
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and company policies

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• 13 years of medical billing and/or insurance verification experience
• Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding preferred
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
