Overview

A leading organization is seeking a Capital Accounting Manager to support capital and development projects. This role partners across Finance, Project Management, and Operations to ensure accurate financial tracking, reporting, and budget execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage project budgets, commitments, change orders, and cost tracking
• Reconcile Construction-in-Progress (CIP) and maintain alignment with the General Ledger
• Prepare monthly financial statements and maintain fixed asset schedules
• Oversee A/P processes, invoice approvals, and coding
• Prepare draw packages and track project funding and cash flow
• Maintain project tracking reports and support capital planning initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
• 3–6+ years of project or construction accounting experience
• Strong A/P, reconciliations, and financial reporting skills
• Advanced Excel and experience with accounting/project systems
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities
• Hospitality and/or construction industry experience REQUIRED
