Senior Sales & Use Tax Analyst

This is a onsite role.

We are seeking a high-caliber Senior Indirect Tax Analyst to join one of the largest companies in Columbus. You'll be part of one of the biggest and most elite Tax teams in the country.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compliance & Reporting: Prepare, review, and file state and local property tax returns, estimates, and work papers, while developing property tax schedules for financial forecasts and regulatory filings.
• Financial Oversight: Manage property tax accounting activities, including related balance sheet reconciliations and processing timely property tax payments.
• Strategic Advisory: Conduct tax research and risk planning to advise business partners on the property tax implications of new business ventures and evolving corporate structures.
• Advocacy & Audit Defense: Negotiate property values directly with state and local tax jurisdictions and lead the response process for state and local tax audits.
• Innovation & Insights: Leverage data analytics and AI to drive process efficiency while monitoring the legislative landscape for property tax developments.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related
• 3+ years of experience in Indirect Tax
• Property Tax experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
