Member Services Representative

Location: Comstock Park, MI

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:45 AM – 5:15 PM

Employment Type: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire

Work Environment: Onsite

We are seeking a customer-focused Member Services Representative (Teller) to join our Comstock Park branch. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys helping customers, and delivers accurate, detail-oriented financial services.

As a front-line representative, you will play a key role in creating a positive branch experience while supporting daily operations and customer needs.

• Provide friendly, professional, and solution-oriented service
• Assist customers with account questions, concerns, and transaction requests
• Educate customers on available financial products and services
• Deliver a high level of service and build strong customer relationships

• Accurately process:
  • Deposits and withdrawals
  • Check cashing
  • Credit card advances
  • Money orders and cashier’s checks
• Maintain and balance a cash drawer with a high level of accuracy
• Utilize internal banking systems (e.g., CBX or similar)

• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues
• Support daily branch operations and administrative tasks
• Assist nearby branches when additional coverage is needed
• Participate in community engagement initiatives

• 1–3 years of customer service experience (in-person preferred)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Basic math and cash-handling aptitude
• Proficiency with computers and office systems
• High attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Reliable attendance and consistent work history

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Comstock Park, MI.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
