Staff Accountant | Nonprofit Accounting & Grants Management

Mb Staffing Services is seeking a motivated Staff Accountant to support nonprofit accounting operations, financial reporting, grant administration, and audit compliance.

This role is ideal for an accounting professional with experience in general ledger accounting, reconciliations, month-end close, financial reporting, and nonprofit or grant-funded environments.

What You'll Do:

• Manage AP, AR, General Ledger, and account reconciliations
• Prepare monthly financial statements and journal entries
• Support cash flow reporting and financial analysis
• Assist with grant tracking and expenditure reporting
• Coordinate month-end and year-end close processes
• Ensure compliance with audit and accounting standards

What We're Looking For:

• 1–3 years of accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
• QuickBooks experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
