Position Summary:
The homebound tutor provides temporary individualized instruction to students who are unable to attend school due to a medical condition. The tutor delivers one hour of instruction per day of absence with the goal of assisting students with maintaining academic progress and supporting transition back to the classroom/school. The tutor is responsible for maintaining regular communication with the students' teachers and school staff to align instruction with classroom activities and ensure continuity of learning.
