Qualifications
WRT is seeking an Architectural Designer with 2-4 years' experience to join the team in the Philadelphia office. Our work focuses on a variety of architectural, planning, and urban design project types for multi-family, mixed-income residential, mixed-use, and educational clients.
Pay Range: $58,500 - $69,500
Skills & Requirements
Responsibilities include:
- Collaborating across disciplines on design solutions for Housing and Education projects.
- Utilizing computer - assisted design software and equipment to prepare project designs and plans.
- Working closely with project architects to produce architectural drawings sets.
- Assisting project teams on site visits, responding to RFIs, and reviewing submittals during the construction process.
- Setting and meeting tight deliverable schedules to meet client's deadlines.
- Periodic travel to clients and sites should be anticipated.
- Regular attendance, physically reporting to the office 3 days/week (T/W/Th in-office)
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture
- 2-4 years of related experience
- Drive for professional growth and development into a well-rounded architect
- Strong design and problem-solving skills
- Passion for design and building craft
- Excellent graphic, written and verbal communication skills
- Team player mentality with a desire to be mentored
- Proficiency with Revit (plus Dynamo), SketchUp, Rhino, Lumion, Enscape (plus VR), Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator), and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
- Interest in sustainability, with accreditation in sustainable design standard a plus! (i.e.; LEED AP, WELL AP, Living Building Challenge, etc.)
- The expected pay range for this position is between $58,500-$69,500 annually, dependent upon education, skills, experience, skillset
