About the Role

The Architect, Multifamily Residential role is a mid-level position focused on supporting the full lifecycle of real estate development projects, including design, documentation, and construction coordination. This role emphasizes Revit-based architectural design, BIM coordination, and collaboration across architecture, engineering, and construction teams. Ideal for professionals with experience in multifamily housing, high-rise development, and integrated project delivery, this position offers hands-on involvement from schematic design through construction administration.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with architecture, engineering, and construction teams to support multifamily residential development projects from concept through completion
  • Develop, modify, and manage Revit models and construction documents, including schematic design, design development, and construction documentation
  • Produce and maintain architectural drawings such as presentation drawings, marketing plans, construction sketches, and contractor coordination documents
  • Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure design accuracy and project alignment
  • Participate in BIM coordination meetings using tools such as Navisworks and BIM 360 to review and integrate 3D building models
  • Review shop drawings and submittals to ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and construction schedules
  • Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress, support quality control, and resolve design-related issues
  • Manage Revit and CAD file integration, redlines, and document control processes to ensure timely project delivery
  • Support project documentation workflows, including submittal management and drawing distribution using project management software
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
  • 5 to 10 years of professional architectural experience, preferably in multifamily residential or mixed-use projects
  • Advanced proficiency in Revit, including model creation, documentation, detailing, and family development
  • Experience producing construction documents, schematic drawings, and presentation materials
  • Familiarity with BIM coordination tools such as Navisworks and experience working with MEP systems
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam or similar PDF markup software and project management platforms such as Procore
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Architecture or a related discipline
  • Knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and accessibility standards such as ADA compliance
  • Experience with high-rise, multifamily, or developer-led design-build projects
  • Familiarity with sustainable design practices, including LEED or green building standards
  • Experience with construction administration, field observation, and understanding of construction methods and materials
