Early Childhood Special Education Teacher

The Wautoma Area School District seeks a compassionate and dedicated Special Education
Teacher to join our elementary team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of child
development and learning disabilities and a passion for helping students with diverse needs succeed
academically and socially. As an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher, you will collaborate with
other educators, parents, and support staff to create individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to
each student's unique learning requirements.

Qualifications

setting.
• Knowledge of evidence-based instructional strategies, assessment techniques, and behavior
management strategies for students with diverse learning needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with
colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children with disabilities.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the individual needs of students with
diverse learning profiles.
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development in the field of special
education.
