The Sanford School of Medicine invites applications for an Education Coordinator to support clinical education on the Sioux Falls campus. The Education Coordinator serves as a central leader in coordinating clinical education experiences for medical students. Working at the intersection of students, faculty, and clinical partners, this position ensures that complex educational operations run smoothly while maintaining a high standard of support and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage clinical scheduling across multiple departments and clinical sites, ensuring alignment with program requirements
  • Serve as a trusted resource and advisor to students, providing guidance and navigating complex or sensitive concerns
  • Partner with faculty and clinical leaders to ensure high-quality, consistent educational experiences
  • Coordinate and execute core curriculum activities, assessments, and student progress tracking
  • Plan and direct key campus programming, including orientation and student-focused initiatives
  • Oversee student compliance processes and interface with clinical partners to ensure readiness for training environments
  • Contribute meaningfully to committees and initiatives that shape the student experience
  • Provide direction and coordination for support staff contributing to program operations

Preferred: experience in medical education or clinical training environments; demonstrated ability to manage complex scheduling or multi-site coordination; interest in student support and advocacy; experience working with diverse stakeholders in a fast-paced, professional setting.
