Job Description:
Job Summary
Responsible for managing pedorthics patient care through evaluation, fabrication, fitting, and follow-up services. Provides personalized care for pedorthic and mastectomy patients to ensure optimal outcomes. Coordinates with healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Ensures compliance with clinical standards and regulatory requirements. Supports patient education and satisfaction throughout the care process.
Essential Functions
• Prepares and distributes agendas, notes, and draft documents for committee or work group review.
• Maintains merchandise, including cleaning, signing, pricing, and replenishment.
• Reviews and evaluates new techniques and materials to enhance flexibility and services.
• Assists referring physicians in evaluating and analyzing patient needs for pediatric services.
• Ensures patient management aligns with established practices for pedorthic care.
• Cross-trains in relevant areas of equipment and supplies as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Education Requirement
High school diploma or equivalent and vocational/technical training in a designated technical area
Experience Requirement
0-2 years of experience in a healthcare, clinical setting, or a relevant area
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
All experience must be paid and in the same related field.
Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week.
Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.
