Location: Beardstown, IL 62618

Pay Rate: $85/hour
Contract Length: 43 Weeks
Schedule: Monday - Friday, Full-Time (In-Person)
Start Date: 08/11/2025

Job Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and qualified Special Education Teacher (LBS1 certified) to join a supportive educational team in Beardstown, IL. This is a full-time, in-person position, starting on August 11, 2025.

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction to students with various disabilities
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers, school staff, and families
• Monitor and track student progress, adjusting instruction as needed
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in line with state and federal requirements

Requirements:

• Valid Illinois LBS1 certification
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working in special education (preferred)
• Must be able to work on-site, Monday through Friday in Beardstown, IL
