Position Overview:
St. Patrick's School in Mauston is seeking a dedicated and energetic Physical Education Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging environment that promotes physical fitness, teamwork, and healthy lifestyle habits among students. Physical Education Class is held on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate physical education curriculum aligned with school standards
• Promote physical fitness, sportsmanship, and teamwork through a variety of activities
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and encouragement
• Maintain a safe and organized environment for all physical activities
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to support overall student development
• Organize and support school athletic events and extracurricular activities as needed
• Recess duty 2 days a week

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or teaching field
• Valid Wisconsin teaching license (or ability to obtain)
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Passion for working with children and promoting healthy lifestyles
• Commitment to the values and mission of a faith-based school environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous teaching experience in a school setting
• Experience coaching or leading extracurricular sports programs
