Make a difference by supporting students and fostering growth as a Special Education Teacher in a vibrant educational environment. Multiple opportunities are available across grade levels, all full-time and supporting self-contained classrooms tailored to unique learning needs.
Three contract positions are open:
Elementary Level (K-5 Autism):

• Self-contained classroom focused on students with autism
• Caseload of up to 6 students
• Deep commitment to individualized educational methods

Middle School (Therapeutic Kids Classroom, Grades 6-8):

• Self-contained classroom serving therapeutic needs
• Caseload of up to 10 students
• Experience working with children who have experienced trauma is essential

High School (Therapeutic Kids Classroom, Grades 9-12):

• Self-contained classroom for therapeutic support
• Caseload of up to 12 students
• Must be skilled in supporting students with trauma backgrounds

Qualifications:

• Valid certification as a Special Education Teacher
• Demonstrated experience in special education settings
• Background working with children with autism and/or trauma
• Strong desire to foster a nurturing, structured, and responsive learning environment
• Effective communicator and collaborator with families and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Foster positive, inclusive classroom communities
• Utilize evidence-based strategies to support student growth and skill acquisition
• Maintain detailed records of student progress and adapt instruction as needed
• Collaborate with related service providers and participate in IEP meetings
