Under the immediate direction of the Superintendent, the Interim Board Certified Behavioral Analyst/Special Educator is responsible for oversight of behavioral systems PreK-12 for the 2026-27 school year. The person in this position will collaborate with district staff, students, and families to provide quality behavioral/instructional programs and to perform other duties directly related to this position description.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Certification
- Board Certified Behavioral Analyst or Licensed Special Educator
- Bachelors from an accredited college or university in a related discipline
- Master's Degree in a related area preferred.
- Experience working in a behavioral educational setting as a teacher or leader preferred.
- Fluent English
- Bilingual Spanish preferred

- Treatment fidelity feedback
- Write programming for students
- Evaluate para performance with BIPs
- Para/staff training on behavior principles
- Weekly meetings
- Support SPED BIPs
- Data collection
- Model BIP implementation
- Treatment fidelity feedback
- Counselor and Behavioral Health Team support
- Weekly meetings to support plans and problem solve
- Ongoing training
- MTSS (as needed)
- Referral process
- Support with antecedent interventions
- PBIS support
- Support proactive classroom management strategies
- Trainings
- Beginning of the year and maintenance through the school year
- Knowledge of current behavioral analysis methods and related educational pedagogy.
- Knowledge of behavioral system curriculum and concepts.
- Knowledge of behavioral data information systems, data analysis, and the formulation of action plans.
- Knowledge of applicable federal and state laws regarding education and students.
