Paraeducator In Special Education

Provides academic and non-academic support to students with disabilities within general education and special education classrooms, at worksites in various job settings, and in extracurricular activities. IL professional educator license or IL paraprofessional license preferred. IL substitute teacher license or ability to obtain an IL paraprofessional license required. Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds. Compensation: Hourly pay rate of $19.00 per LSSA collective bargaining agreement. Single medical and dental insurance provided, family coverage available. Paid sick leave and personal leave. Paid holidays within the school year. Position is eligible for the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF). Full-time position, 10 month position.
