Litigation Associate Attorney – Plaintiff Personal Injury

Direct Counsel is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney – Plaintiff Personal Injury to join a growing and highly successful plaintiff-side litigation team. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced trial attorney who is passionate about advocating for injured clients and handling high-value personal injury matters from inception through resolution.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury litigation, courtroom experience, and a proven ability to manage cases while delivering exceptional client service.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage plaintiff-side personal injury cases throughout the litigation process
  • Conduct case investigations to establish liability and evaluate damages
  • Draft, file, and argue motions, oppositions, discovery motions, and other litigation-related pleadings
  • Develop and execute litigation strategy in collaboration with attorneys and support staff
  • Maintain regular communication with clients and guide them through each phase of litigation
  • Conduct legal research and prepare legal briefs and memoranda
  • Handle complex and high-value injury matters through settlement or trial
  • Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and legal professionals to achieve favorable outcomes

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Active license and good standing with the applicable State Bar
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required
  • Minimum of 3 years of personal injury litigation experience
  • Strong trial background with at least 3 civil jury trials to verdict
  • Extensive knowledge of personal injury laws, procedures, and litigation strategy
  • Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
  • Proven ability to independently manage cases and meet litigation deadlines
  • Strong organizational, communication, and client relationship skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience handling catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and complex personal injury matters
  • Strong courtroom presence and trial advocacy skills
  • Ability to manage multiple active litigation files simultaneously

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary range: $115,000 – $185,000 annually, depending on experience
