Title: Medical Assistant – Primary Care / Clinical Support

Location: Vero Beach, FL

Duration: Contract Assignment

Shift: Monday to Friday | 08:15 AM – 05:00 PM

Position Overview:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to support front and back office clinical operations in a busy outpatient healthcare setting. This role involves direct patient interaction, clinical support, and administrative responsibilities.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Greet, room, and prepare patients for clinical visits

• Take vital signs and record patient information in EMR

• Assist providers with exams and clinical procedures

• Perform phlebotomy / venipuncture and specimen collection

• Administer vaccines and basic clinical treatments as directed

• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow

• Answer phone calls and assist with patient inquiries

• Maintain accurate electronic medical records

• Support occupational health and health education initiatives

• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and patient safety standards

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year Medical Assistant experience (excluding externship)

• BLS Certification required

• Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred

• COVID vaccination card required

• Phlebotomy / venipuncture experience required

• EMR experience required

• Strong communication and computer skills required

• Occupational health experience preferred
