A+ Staffing is hiring for a nonprofit client seeking an experienced Finance & Office Manager to oversee financial operations and support day-to-day administrative functions. This role works closely with the CEO and leadership team to manage accounting, budgeting, compliance, office operations, vendor relationships, and organizational processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounting functions, including AP/AR, payroll coordination, cash flow, and general ledger activities.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and audit preparation.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax requirements, and internal policies.
- Oversee office operations, vendor management, contracts, procurement, and technology coordination.
- Support HR administration, including onboarding, benefits administration, and recordkeeping.
- Develop and improve systems, controls, and processes that enhance efficiency and transparency.
- Partner with leadership on strategic planning and organizational decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
- 4+ years of finance and accounting experience.
- Strong financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting skills.
- Experience supporting executive leadership and organizational planning.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite, and financial software.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating across teams.
Location: Remote (Candidates must be based in the Houston or Dallas area.)
