Special Education Bus Attendant

Description:Board the bus at the high school in Lake City and ride to the elemenetary school at the beginning of the day. Ride the bus back to Lake City at the end of the school day.

Performance Duties:

1. Keep students in their seats on the bus when it is in motion. They will also stay seated until the bus comes to a complete stop for unloading.
2. Be alert and cautious. Be professional in your action, speech and appearance.
3. Report any problem you have to the Transportation Supervisor.
4. Refrain from the use of personal cell phones/electronics while on duty. Cell phones should only be used in emergency situations.
5. Report any accident immediately to the Transportation Supervisor, regardless of how small it might seem. Also report any possible hazards encountered or any other problems that might arise.
