R & J Trucking, Inc.is one of the largest Bulk Commodities hauler east of the Mississippi and have been serving the transportation industry for over 50 years.Compensation * Average Weekly Pay: $1,250-$1,400 per week * Newly hired drivers in this role currently earn an average of $1,300 per week, depending on attendance and individual performance. * Pay based on an industry leading percentage (%) of linehaul structure * Additional % for seniority and meeting individual weekly performance goals * Bonuses * Referral bonuses up to $900 per referral * Performance and safety bonuses available * Paid via direct deposit weeklyBenefits & Perks * Health, dental, vision, & life insurance after 60 days * Paid vacation * Paid orientation * 401(k) retirement plan with company match * Guaranteed home time in a family-oriented atmosphere * Repetitive lanes with which you will quickly become familiar * Dedicated dispatcher and 24/7 staffing * Tole/scale pre pass (if needed) * Extensive terminal network with on-site maintenance shops and fuel islands * Open door policy with management and ownership * Home truck parking (with authorized agreement)Home Time, Route, & Schedule * Home every night * Day shift, start times will vary * This position will run mostly at end dumps with occasional fill ins on pneumatic cement runs as needed * Monday-Friday, occasional weekend may be required * Drop and Hook routes out of Holly Hill, SC, do not need to enter landfill! * All routes within 100 air miles of SavannahEquipment * End Dump, Tipper Trailers, Dry Bulk Pneumatics * Will train drivers on equipment * Peterbilts & Macks * Offer newer, state of the art equipment with safety features, electronic logs Qualifications * Must have valid CDL A License * 23 years of age * 1 year of recent, safe, verifiable commercial tractor-trailer experience * Dump truck experience preferred but not required * Good MVR and CSA scores * Must be able to pass a DOT pre-employment physical and drug test * Must be able to pass a road test and essential job functions test * Hiring radius: 50 miles around Holly Hill, SC
