Worker's Comp/Medical Malpractice Paralegal
Job Description Job Description Responsibilities: * Assist attorneys with Workers' Compensation and Medical Malpractice case management * Draft legal documents, correspondence, pleadings, and discovery responses * Obtain, organize, and summarize medical records and billing documentation * Communicate with clients, medical providers, courts, and opposing counsel * Maintain case calendars, deadlines, and filings * Prepare files for hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial * E-file documents in state and federal courts as needed * Support attorneys with case investigation and document review Qualifications: * 2+ years of paralegal experience in Workers' Compensation, Medical Malpractice, Personal Injury, or civil litigation * Strong knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures, and litigation processes * Experience reviewing and summarizing medical records preferred * Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills * Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software * Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently Preferred: * Plaintiff or defense-side litigation experience * Experience with medical chronologies and record summaries * Paralegal certificate or related education preferred
