A project is a temporary endeavor established to produce a specific deliverable. The project manager is responsible and accountable for the delivery of agreed project outputs to the agreed time, cost and quality parameters within the agreed scope. The project manager will manage and coordinate the activity of the project team to ensure on time delivery using standard project and program management tools and techniques. Responsibilities: • Responsible for the management of multiple projects of varying size and scope • Ensure project management best practices are adhered to for management of all project deliverables and artifacts and that project work is compliant with documented standards • Responsible for project stakeholder management including awareness, engagement and communications • Responsible for resource and budget management • Responsible for early risk detection and mitigation, escalating issues when necessary to avoid impact to project commitments • Ensure compliance to the Program Governance Framework • Where applicable, provide other relevant support as required by the program manager • Actively support the Global Technology Organization’s strategy, plans and values, contributing to a high performance culture Key qualifications: • Established experience in leading both small and large projects to a successful completion • Ability to manage multiple resources and projects to ensure quality from inception to completion, providing oversight, reporting, controls and quality measures throughout the lifecycle of a project • Experience in and knowledge of both agile and waterfall methodologies • Established experience in effectively communicating with and positively influencing project stakeholders and team members • 5+ years of project management experience in information technology • Excellent inter-personal skills with proven ability of establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with peers across all levels of the organization • Proven knowledge and mid-level skills for Microsoft Office suite of tools Education/certifications: • Undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university • PMI Project Management Professional certification (recommended) • PMI Agile Practitioner certification (or equivalent) read more
