Job Title: Medical Technologist—Hematology

Location: Deland, FL (Fully Onsite)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a medical technologist—hematology to perform complex laboratory testing, analyze and report results, maintain laboratory instrumentation, and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have strong hematology experience, a current Florida Technologist License, and certification from a recognized laboratory certifying agency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform complex hematology laboratory testing and result reporting.
• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory instruments.
• Ensure specimen integrity and compliance with quality standards.
• Train and mentor laboratory staff; assist with competency assessments.
• Support workflow monitoring, inventory management, and inspection readiness.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and assist with policy development.
• Participate in evaluation of new methodologies and equipment.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Biological Sciences, or related field.
• 2–6 years of laboratory experience preferred.
• Current Florida Technologist License in Hematology or Multi-Specialty.
• ASCP, AMT, or equivalent laboratory certification required.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, quality control, and compliance standards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.
