Paralegal - Medical Malpractice Plaintiff - Temp-to-Hire

Job Description Job Description Plaintiff Medical Malpractice Paralegal (Temp-to-Hire) Location: Coral Gables, Florida A highly regarded boutique plaintiff's law firm in Coral Gables is seeking an experienced Medical Malpractice Paralegal to join its team on a temp-to-hire basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented legal professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced litigation environment and wants the potential to transition into a permanent position. Responsibilities: * Support attorneys in all phases of plaintiff medical malpractice litigation * Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, notices, discovery requests, and responses * Organize and maintain case files, both electronic and physical * Review, summarize, and manage medical records * Coordinate expert witnesses and assist with expert disclosures * Schedule depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial-related events * Prepare trial notebooks, exhibits, and other litigation materials * Communicate professionally with clients, medical providers, experts, opposing counsel, and court personnel * Monitor deadlines and maintain litigation calendars Qualifications: * Minimum of 3 years of plaintiff medical malpractice paralegal experience * Strong knowledge of Florida state court procedures and deadlines * Experience reviewing and summarizing medical records * Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities simultaneously * Excellent organizational, communication, and proofreading skills * Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software * Trial preparation experience is highly preferred Compensation & Benefits: * Competitive hourly compensation during the temporary period * Opportunity for permanent employment with the firm based on performance and business needs * Professional, team-oriented work environment * Full-time, on-site position in Coral Gables Qualified candidates seeking a long-term opportunity with a respected plaintiff's medical malpractice practice are encouraged to apply to Patrick Farley with Legal Search Solutions: Patrick@TopLawJobs.com Job # 16672 Legal Search Solutions is a specialized staffing firm that focuses on the legal industry.
