We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Mechanical Technician for a prominent client of ours. This position is located North Charleston, SC 29418. Details of the position are as follows:

Job Details:

• Pay: $23.87/hr to Start!!
• 1-year assignment, high possibility for extension and conversion based on performance and budget.
• Sunday – Friday, 10pm – 6:30am (onsite)
• Responsible for operating machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems on equipment.
• Perform various equipment preventive maintenance tasks (i.e., cleaning, inspection, and lubrication) as necessary.
• Document maintenance activity using the maintenance database, adequately communicate maintenance issues, and properly utilize the maintenance inventory system.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma and 1+ years of hands-on mechanical technician experience is Required!!
• Experience with forklifts is Required!!
