Compensation: $65,000 - $85,000 plus commission

We specialize in placing Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) in a variety of healthcare settings including hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and home health organizations.
As we continue to expand in New York, we are seeking a Business Development Representative with healthcare industry experience to help build strong partnerships with healthcare facilities and identify new staffing opportunities.
Position Overview
The Business Development Representative (BDR) will play a key role in driving growth by identifying new healthcare facility partnerships, building relationships with decision-makers, and expanding NurseAmerica's presence in the healthcare staffing market.
This role requires someone who understands the healthcare industry and staffing environment, and who is comfortable developing relationships with healthcare administrators, directors of nursing, and HR leaders.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with healthcare facilities across New York

• Develop relationships with hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, and long-term care organizations

• Generate leads through networking, outreach, and industry events

Client Relationship Management

• Build long-term partnerships with healthcare facility leadership

• Understand facility staffing needs and present tailored staffing solutions

• Maintain regular communication with existing and prospective clients

Sales & Market Expansion

• Present NurseAmerica's staffing services to healthcare decision-makers

• Collaborate with the recruiting team to ensure successful candidate placements

• Track sales activities and pipeline in CRM systems

Industry Networking

• Attend healthcare conferences, facility meetings, and networking events

• Travel occasionally within New York to meet with healthcare facility partners

Qualifications
Required
• 2+ years of business development or sales experience in healthcare
• Experience working with healthcare staffing, hospitals, or long-term care facilities

• Strong relationship-building and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline

• Willingness to travel occasionally within New York

Preferred
• Experience selling healthcare staffing services

• Existing relationships with healthcare facilities in New York

• Familiarity with healthcare staffing models and workforce challenges
