Summary
Manages shift to provide for a safe and secure environment for guests, employees, and company assets. Supervises security staff on assigned shift. Directs staff and assists in the handling of incidents and emergencies. Summons police/fire agencies as needed. Follows all gaming regulations. Oversees required drops.
Essential Functions
Provides exceptional customer service to all internal and external customers. Leads subordinates to provide exceptional guest service to internal/external guests. Supervises security personnel during assigned shift. Manages shift to provide for a safe and secure environment for guests, employees, and company assets. Directs staff and assists in the handling of incidents and emergencies. Summons police/fire agencies as needed. Follows all gaming regulations. Ensures all necessary documentation is completed, from daily activity logs to incident reports. Oversees required drops. Schedules employees and assigns tasks, staying within budgetary guidelines. Schedules days off. Approves payroll. Coordinates and/or facilitates training. Conducts performance evaluations. Coaches employees for improvement. Administers discipline as needed. Upholds company rules, gaming regulations, and laws. Interviews and selects personnel as needed. Develops personnel. Motivates staff. Special projects. Other duties as assigned.
Required
Pre-employment drug test required. Arranged by Grand Falls upon offer of employment. Must be able to be licensed with the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission, completed upon hire.
