Under general supervision, is responsible for assisting in basic accounting, bookkeeping, and clerical duties.
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and have some data entry experience.
- Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting procedures, principles, practices and techniques.
- Solid working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft office products
- Skilled in operating a personal computer and ten key adding machine
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
- Must be organized with ability to multitask
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Assist in account reconciliations
- Assist in performing journal entries
- Assist in maintaining files and records on all transactions
- Must be a college student enrolled in an accounting or related field.
