Screen Print Operator - Job Description
Position Overview
The Screen Print Operator supports the full screen-printing production process, including preparing screens, assisting press operators, inspecting finished products, and moving materials throughout the facility. This role ensures high-quality output while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work area.
Key Responsibilities
- Review work orders and set up the workstation for multi-color printing jobs.
- Assist press operators with loading materials, applying ink, swapping squeegees, and prepping items for decoration.
- Operate equipment used to coat, reclaim, image, and develop screens.
- Inspect printed garments to ensure they meet quality standards and customer requirements.
- Move materials throughout the facility using a pallet jack and RF scanner.
- Maintain a clean work area and perform routine cleaning of equipment.
- Follow all safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment.
- Perform additional production-related tasks as needed.
- 1-2 years of screen-printing, production, or machine-operating experience preferred.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and learn processes quickly.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to differentiate and coordinate colors.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment.
- Good attendance and strong work ethic.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Regular repetitive motions.
- Must be able to lift 15-35 lbs consistently.
- Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment.
