Accounting Technician
The County Auditor investigates all financial claims against the county and pays the bills. The Auditor's Office also examines the financial books kept by the other county officials to see that accurate and complete records are maintained.
This IS NOT a remote position and requires on-site presence at our physical office location during regular business hours.
The Opportunity:
Under general supervision of the Assistant Controller, performs routine and complex accounts payable or receivable compliance work.
Starting Pay: Grade 719 $21.72 - $24.95 Hourly
Schedule: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday thru Friday
Job Qualifications:
1. Associate degree in accounting or other finance related field. 2. Two (2) years of complex accounts payable and/or receivable work experience. 3. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may also be considered.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications: 1. Incumbent must be bondable. 2. Applicants must possess a valid driver's license and obtain a valid State of Utah driver's license within sixty (60) days of employment. 3. Selected applicants will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
