We serve customers in oil & gas, power generation, aerospace, and industrial markets and are known for technical expertise, responsiveness, and long-standing client relationships.


Position Summary

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth within the industrial gas turbine market. This role is responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, expanding relationships with existing customers, and contributing to the company’s overall commercial strategy.


The ideal candidate brings direct experience in gas turbine sales and a demonstrated ability to develop opportunities, navigate complex sales cycles, and close business in technical, relationship-driven environments.


This is a high-impact role with direct visibility into company growth. You will have the autonomy to build a pipeline, develop relationships, and close meaningful business in a specialized and technically driven market.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to expand GTA’s market presence
  • Identify, prioritize, and pursue new business opportunities across target industries and accounts
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, partners, and key industry stakeholders
  • Lead the full sales cycle, including prospecting, qualification, proposal development, negotiation, and contract closure
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, and leadership teams to align customer needs with service capabilities
  • Monitor market trends, customer activity, and competitor positioning to inform strategy
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and internal reporting on pipeline and performance
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
  • Demonstrated experience in business development, sales, or account management within the industrial gas turbine market
  • Experience selling turbine-related services and/or package components strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of gas turbine applications, service offerings, and customer landscape
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
  • Ability to operate independently in a remote environment while coordinating across teams
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively (50–75%)
