Salary: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year with bonus

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead our efforts in expanding our network of medical professionals, specifically targeting doctors to join our state-of-the-art ambulatory surgical center and maintain strong, ongoing relationship with them. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare/medical sales, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of building successful professional relationships in the medical field.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively seek and bring in doctors to work with our surgical center.
  • Develop and implement strategies to recruit doctors to work with our ambulatory surgical center.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective doctors. Serve as the main point of contact for any inquiries or issues they may have.
  • Organize and attend medical conferences, seminars, and networking events to promote our center and establish connections with potential doctors.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns tailored to attract medical professionals.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding process of new doctors.
  • Provide regular reports on recruitment progress and suggest improvements to strategies as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or recruitment, preferably in the healthcare, medical or pharmaceutical related sector.
  • Proven tracking records of successful business development effort.
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare industry and the specific needs of ambulatory surgical centers.
  • Fast learning ability to understand various medical specialties and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with doctors and medical professionals.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work flexibly as needed for networking and recruitment purposes.
