Work Location Type: On-Site
Salary Range: $56,949.00 - 70,000.00
- Oversee PM airline catering drivers, including dispatch operations and daily route coordination
- Verify drivers are following all SOPs, safety standards, and operational procedures
- Monitor and drive on-time performance to ensure service level expectations are consistently achieved
- Maintain and ensure proper driver scheduling, staffing coverage, and shift compliance
- Oversee operational workflows to ensure all areas are organized, staffed, and directed effectively to meet production and delivery timelines
- Ensure timely and accurate catering and delivery of all flights according to operational standards and customer requirements
- Lead daily team huddles to communicate operational goals, priorities, updates, and performance expectations
- Monitor employee breaks and lunches to ensure compliance with labor standards and operational coverage
- Address operational issues proactively, including gate changes, missing items, service recovery, and customer callbacks
- Ensure digital operational tools and innovations are fully utilized, including GroundStar, FTT, SFS, and related systems
- Document processes, identify operational gaps, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and execution
- Maintain knowledge of airline, ramp, and transportation safety and security procedures
- Perform Ramp Safety Observations (RSOs) and reinforce safe work practices across operations
- Ensure strict adherence to FDA, USDA, OSHA, EPA, DOT, HACCP, and company policies and procedures
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture through coaching, audits, engagement, and accountability
- Conduct regular compliance and safety audits and follow up on corrective actions as needed
- Ability to obtain and maintain a SIDA badge, including successful completion of a 10-year federal background check and fingerprinting requirements
- Lead, coach, and develop employees in alignment with company values, policies, and performance expectations
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing work environment focused on accountability and continuous improvement
- Provide ongoing performance feedback, guidance, and support for employee development and engagement
- Address employee relations matters professionally and consistently
- Model strong leadership behaviors and reinforce operational excellence within the team
- Deliver a customer service-focused experience by responding effectively to operational challenges and client needs
- Build strong internal and external relationships to support service excellence
- Monitor KPIs including productivity, attendance, quality, labor costs, and operational efficiency
- Identify performance gaps and implement solutions to improve operational results
- Support company initiatives including Quality Programs, HACCP, Lean Manufacturing, and Safety Programs
- Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve overall operational performance
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- 1-3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a production, manufacturing, or operations environment.
- Strong operational leadership and supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of airline catering, transportation, dispatch, or logistics operations preferred
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Customer service oriented with a proactive approach to issue resolution
- Experience utilizing operational technology systems and reporting tools
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to obtain and maintain airport security clearance/SIDA badge
