Visitor Center Clerk

We are seeking a friendly and dependable Visitor Center Clerk to provide exceptional guest service, support events, and assist with daily visitor center operations in a dynamic outdoor setting.

Visitor Center Clerk Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $ 20.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• Weekend work required
• First Shift (Monday through Saturday)

• Greet and assist guests, members, and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
• Process purchases, returns, and orders using POS and internal systems
• Support daily visitor center operations, including merchandising, stocking, and product displays
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of guest areas and sales floor
• Assist with weddings, private events, corporate functions, and seasonal activities
• Support basic food service preparation and guest service operations
• Assist with recreational activities and guest experiences as assigned
• Provide general administrative and operational support as needed

Visitor Center Clerk Qualifications:

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work weekends
• Basic computer and Microsoft Office knowledge
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain attention to detail
• Experience in retail, hospitality, or events preferred
• Food Handler's Permit (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Exposure to dust, plants, animals, and active outdoor environments

• Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
