This is a contract to permanent position located in Ft. Lauderdale. The client requires on-site work. Candidates MUST HAVE experience with the Microsoft Dynamics platform.

OVERVIEW: The Business Analyst serves as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the technical teams that support them. This role owns the end-to-end lifecycle of business-application support, organizing intake, categorizing, prioritizing, triaging requests and actively engaging internal technical teams and external partners to identify and implement solutions that keep business systems aligned with operational needs. Proactive, structured communication, setting expectations, maintaining visibility during resolution, and confirming outcomes after delivery is essential to make this role effective across all organizational boundaries.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own the end-to-end intake process for business-application requests. Categorize, prioritize, and assign issues based on business impact, urgency, and complexity.
  • Conduct initial triage to distinguish configuration issues, data problems, process gaps, and defects, routing each to the appropriate resolution path.
  • Serve as the communication anchor for every request. Solicit feedback before work begins to align on scope, priority, and timing; provide regular, transparent updates during analysis and resolution; communicate outcomes and next steps after delivery.
  • Translate operational requirements and opportunities into clear, actionable problem statements and enhancement requests for data, development, and engineering teams to execute on.
  • Coordinate with technical teams and external vendors to drive resolution; hold all parties accountable to agreed timelines and quality standards.
  • Elicit and document business requirements for application enhancements and integrations, producing user stories, process maps, and acceptance criteria.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT), change management, and operational readiness for new capabilities and system updates.
  • Monitor application performance trends; proactively surface systemic issues with root-cause recommendations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

KEY SKILLS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a Business Analyst or Enterprise applications support role with direct business-facing responsibilities in a multi-location or service-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage support intake, triage, and prioritization workflows independently and with discipline.
  • Strong requirements documentation skills: user stories, process maps, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
  • Experience with enterprise business systems: ERP, CRM, financial platforms, or service management tools; Microsoft Dynamics platform experience required.
  • Working knowledge of relational databases and systems integration concepts; SQL familiarity preferred.
  • Exceptional communicator with a disciplined before/during/after approach. Proactive in setting expectations, transparent with progress updates, and thorough in closing the loop; equally fluent with business stakeholders and technical teams.
