Bloompop provides plant, floral and seasonal decor services for luxury corporate clients. We are seeking an energetic, results-driven Business Development Executive to join our ambitious, fast-growing team.
This role is built for a polished, highly motivated professional who thrives on driving growth and expanding a premium brand's presence across the US, Canada, and Mexico. You will own the full sales lifecycle—from strategic prospecting to closing—and subsequently retain and grow the premium client accounts you personally bring on board.
Work Schedule: This role requires a hybrid schedule, working 3 days per week from our Memphis office (Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays).
Core Responsibilities
New Business Development
Sales Strategy & Execution: Own the full sales lifecycle for new business acquisition, effectively targeting high-end real estate, property management, and luxury retail sectors.
Prospecting & Lead Generation: Actively identify strategically sound corporate leads and execute high-volume cold outreach via email, phone, and digital channels to secure introductory meetings.
Pitching & Closing: Lead virtual meetings, effectively communicate Bloompop's luxury value proposition, and generate compelling, bespoke proposals for prospective national clients.
Collaboration with Leadership: Partner directly with company leadership to develop broader, company-wide strategies for pursuing and closing enterprise-level national accounts.
Client Relationship Management
Onboarding & Retention: Serve as the primary, dedicated point of contact for all accounts you personally close, ensuring seamless onboarding and alignment with Bloompop's luxury standards.
Upselling & Portfolio Growth: Deepen relationships with your acquired clients by identifying opportunities to upsell seasonal services and expand their account value.
Retention: Ensure long-term client satisfaction and premium, personalized service to maintain high retention rates for your portfolio.
Qualifications & Growth
As an agile company experiencing accelerated growth, we are looking for curious, resilient, and entrepreneurial candidates who thrive in a hunting-centric sales environment and want to grow alongside us!
Industry Passion: A genuine appreciation or passion for floral, plant, and interior design is essential.
Experience: A minimum of 2–3 years of B2B or premium consumer sales experience is preferred, but not strictly required. We are highly open to entry-level candidates, provided you have a foundational, relevant background in sales.
Relationship & Negotiation Skills: Exceptional communication, pitching, and negotiation skills with a natural ability to connect with luxury-brand decision-makers.
Autonomy: Highly self-motivated, with the ability to work independently to hit sales targets while collaborating with the broader team.
Tech Stack: Proficiency in CRM software (including Canva and Google Workspace).
Bonus Points: Experience working within or selling into the luxury retail or property management industries.
