Business Administrator - Manufacturing - Base Salary to 50k/year - Gallatin, TN
- Our client is a growing manufacturing organization serving customers across the construction, transportation, agricultural, and equipment industries. They are seeking a Business Administrator to support daily office operations, customer communications, administrative functions, and business reporting activities.
- This position is ideal for an experienced administrative professional who enjoys working in a high-volume manufacturing environment and has strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct incoming telephone calls to appropriate team members
- Provide customer follow-up regarding inquiries, requests, and business communications
- Prepare, type, edit, and distribute reports, letters, correspondence, and other business documents
- Maintain, update, organize, and store business records and files to ensure accuracy and accessibility
- Sort, distribute, and respond to incoming mail and correspondence as appropriate
- Prepare and maintain daily and monthly sales reports
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate business information across office systems
- Support general administrative and clerical functions to ensure efficient office operations
- Handle sensitive employee and customer information with discretion and confidentiality
Qualifications:
- Experience supporting administrative, clerical, office management, or business operations functions
- Experience using Microsoft Excel for reporting, spreadsheets, data tracking, and business administration
- Experience using QuickBooks for business administration and recordkeeping
- Familiarity with common office processes, including filing, handling mail, and directing telephone calls
- Computer proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, database, and basic accounting software
- Accurate typing and data entry skills
- Customer service experience interacting with customers, vendors, or the general public
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive information
Compensation:
- Base salary in the 40k – 50k/year range
