Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students at the elementary level within a vibrant educational community. This full-time, onsite position seeks a dedicated professional to provide psychological services at Emerald Elementary and Pioneer Elementary from August 2026 through May 2027.
Required Qualifications:
- Active and current Colorado Department of Education (CDE) School Psychologist License
- Previous experience delivering school-based psychological services
- Expertise in assessment, counseling, and intervention planning for diverse student populations
- Strong collaboration skills when working with teachers, support staff, administrators, and families
- Ability to maintain comprehensive documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and time management abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Complete psycho-educational assessments and interpret results for students referred for services
- Collaborate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans
- Provide direct counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support as needed
- Serve as a resource for prevention strategies, school-wide behavioral programs, and student support teams
- Consult with staff and families to recommend evidence-based strategies for academic and social-emotional growth
- Uphold confidentiality and promote a positive, inclusive learning environment
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to review student progress and contribute to educational decisions
