Role Highlights:

• Work full-time, 37.5 hours per week (potential shifts: 7:15am–3:15pm or 8:15am–4:15pm based on assignment)
• Support students in classrooms that may include those with cognitive or emotional impairments, as well as mild to moderate general education needs
• Deliver compassionate care, which could involve health aide-related tasks, such as toileting or diapering for students with significant needs
• Opportunity for direct 1:1 support in specialized or general classroom settings at elementary, middle, or high school levels
• Engage in virtual interviews for efficient hiring

Qualifications:

• At least 60 semester hours of college credit, or
• Associate degree (or higher), or
• ETS Paraprofessional Assessment (score of 460+), or
• SAT with at least 480 in evidence-based reading/writing and 530 in math
• Official university transcripts or proof of qualifying scores must be provided before district submission
• Experience supporting students in classroom and individual settings is highly desirable
• Compassion and adaptability to work with students with varying developmental and emotional needs
