Position Summary
The Franchise Business Consultant serves as the primary business partner to franchise owners and General Managers, driving sales growth, operational excellence, profitability, and guest satisfaction across the system.
This role coaches, develops, and influences restaurant leadership teams while ensuring alignment with Crust Pizza Co. standards, systems, and culture. Success requires strong business acumen, operational expertise, relationship-building skills, and a commitment to helping franchisees achieve sustainable results.

Support Prime Cost targets through effective labor and food cost management.
Maintain current manager certifications and training completion goals, market the Internal Manager Program.
Achieve franchisee satisfaction ratings of 90% or greater.
Essential Responsibilities
Business Consulting & Performance Coaching
Conduct business reviews focused on sales, profitability, labor, food cost, guest experience, and operational execution.
Develop action plans that improve restaurant performance and accountability.
Coach franchisees and managers on leadership, staffing, operations, and profitability.
Brand Standards & Compliance
Ensure consistent execution of The Crust Way.
Conduct operational evaluations and support corrective action plans.
Protect standards related to food quality, cleanliness, service, safety, and facility appearance.
Training & Development
Partner with Training to support onboarding, certifications, leadership development, and performance improvement initiatives.
Local Store Marketing Support
Guide franchisees in executing local marketing, community engagement, catering growth, loyalty initiatives, and partnerships.
Partner with Marketing to support systemwide campaigns and local execution.
New Restaurant Openings
Support pre-opening readiness, grand openings, and post-opening stabilization.
Assist restaurants in achieving operational and financial benchmarks during their first 90 days.
Communication & Field Leadership
Serve as the communication bridge between franchisees and the Support Center.
Support implementation of new initiatives, menu launches, and operational improvements.
Provide field feedback that strengthens systems, tools, and processes.

Qualifications
Required
3+ years of multi-unit restaurant operations, franchise consulting, or field leadership experience.
Strong understanding of restaurant financials, including P&L management, labor, food cost, and profitability drivers.
Ability to influence and coach without direct authority.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with Google Workspace, restaurant technology platforms, AI/Chatgpt.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively.
Preferred
Fast-casual, pizza, or franchise experience.
Bilingual (English/Spanish).
Experience with Toast POS or similar restaurant systems.
ServSafe Manager Certification.
