Accounting Representative

TFG is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Representative to support daily finance operations at our Metairie, Louisiana office. This role is well suited for an accounting professional with hands-on experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable, who can work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong customer and vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable payments and expense transactions
• Manage accounts receivable aging reports and monitor delinquent accounts
• Conduct consistent follow-up on outstanding balances and collections
• Communicate professionally with customers and vendors via phone and email regarding billing and payment inquiries
• Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies
• Maintain accurate financial records and accounting databases
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and improve processes
• Support additional accounting and administrative tasks as needed
  

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or related experience
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is a plus
• Working knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and basic accounting principles
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and mathematical skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage
• Proficient in Google Workspace applications
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, customer-focused approach
