Security Supervisor
Job Title
Supervises and coordinates activities of security officers for various areas of the Hospital facilities and grounds and acts to deter loss of hospital, employee, patient and visitor property by intercepting unauthorized individuals and investigating unusual incidents.

Education: High school graduate or equivalent (GED) required. Must be able to read and write English and perform basic mathematical calculations. Specialized training in instructional or industrial security.
Licensure: Must possess a valid driver's license. For armed officers, they must be able to obtain a valid Indiana Firearms License for the purpose of carrying a concealed weapon. CPR certification on hire or able to attain within 60 days.
Experience: Three years of security experience or two years of law enforcement (police, sheriff) department duty. Be able to demonstrate a high level of knowledge as to the care and use of firearms and the legal implications of their use.
Other Job Requirements: At Mishawaka Campus a colleague must be able to demonstrate a good driving record verifiable with the DMV in the applicant's state of residence, not accumulating more than three (3) points within the last 12months.
