    Job Summary
    Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
    Responsibilities

    • Provide nursing care to cardiovascular ICU patients, including stable heart and lung transplant cases.
    • Administer and manage complex drips and life-support equipment.
    • Float to various units, including Bellevue campus, as required to meet staffing needs.
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams such as care techs and transport teams.
    • Ensure accurate documentation using EPIC charting system.
    • Maintain a nicotine-free status in compliance with facility requirements.
      Qualifications

      • Current RN license in the state of Nebraska, pending licenses accepted with conditions.
      • Minimum 2 years of experience in a large, urban hospital setting.
      • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
      • Proficient in managing ventricular assist devices and ECMO patients.
      • Experience with EPIC charting system.
      • First time travelers not accepted; prior experience at a Level I Academic Medical Center required.
