Accounting Intern
Assist with accounts receivable duties including processing and maintaining customer sales orders, and creating daily invoices. Reconcile daily grain settlements for payment. Additionally prepare weekly and monthly accounting reports. Will work independently and with teams, both accounting and operational.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Invoice feed sales on a daily basis.
- Reconcile daily grain settlements for payment.
- Collect credit information to set up new customers.
- Work with Corporate accounting to maintain current customer credit files.
- Assist with ethanol railcar billing release.
- Monitors accounts receivable aging report for past due accounts and follows up with customer on late accounts.
- Support accounting department and Ethanol division by performing other projects as needed.
- Assist with coordinating prevailing wage requirements both internally and externally.
- Must be able to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Currently pursuing bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.

Preferred Experience:
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Basic knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office Programs.
