<div>Volt is immediately hiring for <b>Pharmacy Technician II </b>in Torrance<b>, CA </b></div> <p>As a<b> Pharmacy Technician II </b>you will:</p> <ul> <li>This position requires a California-licensed Pharmacy Technician working under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.</li> <li>The technician will be responsible for the packaging, preparation, and sterile compounding of intravenous medications as well as injectable medications, including chemotherapy and other biohazardous drugs.</li> <li>All duties must be performed in accordance with USP <797> and <800> standards, institutional protocols, and safety guidelines.</li> </ul> <p>This is a full-time contract opportunity. 5 days a week. 8+ hours per day.</p> <p><b>Minimum Qualifications & Experience:</b></p> <ul> <li>At least 6 months of performing related duties as a pharmacy technician</li> <li>Licensed pharmacy technician license in good standing with California Board of Pharmacy</li> <li>High School or equivalent or Post High School vocational/specialized training or Graduation from a foreign school of Pharmacy</li> </ul> <p><b>Required Skills & Qualifications</b></p> <ul> <li>We are looking for a candidate with at least 2 years of solid experience with <b>sterile compounding (797) and hazardous compounding (800) experience. </b></li> <li>This candidate would have likely worked at an Inpatient setting (Hospital) or an ambulatory setting (infusion clinic).</li> </ul> <p><b>Schedule: 1<sup>st</sup> shift - 8am -4:30pm</b></p> <p><b>Days: Monday through Friday</b></p> <p><b>Pay Rate Range: $25 to $28 and hour</b></p> <p>*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.</p> <p>Qualified candidates should <b>APPLY NOW </b>for immediate consideration!
