Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial transactions and ensure accuracy in bookkeeping.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to inform strategic decisions.
- Manage budgeting processes and forecast financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize financial operations.
- Supervise and mentor the finance team to enhance their skills.
- Implement financial systems and processes for efficiency.
- Assist in grant management and funding proposals.
- Bachelors degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in finance and bookkeeping roles.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
- Experience in non-profit finance is a plus.
- Proficient in TOAST, QuickBooks, Excel, and other financial tools
