What You’ll Do as a Site Supervisor:- Manage daily operation of processing equipment, including startup, monitoring, adjustments, and shutdown
- Lead team members to execute production plans and meet quality and safety standards
- Perform inspections, audits, and inventory reviews to ensure compliance
- Identify equipment issues and complete basic repairs and preventative maintenance
- Oversee product movement, unloading, storage, packaging, and labeling accuracy
- Maintain site cleanliness and ensure all documentation is completed on time
- Build professional relationships with farmers, inspectors, and site visitors
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. and perform physical tasks including climbing ladders and working in tight spaces
- Previous experience in farming, grain elevator, or processing site (supervisory experience preferred)
- Strong written, verbal, and reading communication skills
- Ability to operate forklifts, loaders, trucks, tractors, conveyors, and similar equipment
- Mechanical aptitude; experience with tools such as welding, drilling, grinding, or torching preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to complete HACCP and Food Safety training and follow policies and procedures
Benefits: This position offers an hourly pay structure with overtime paid at time and a half for hours worked over 40 each week. Employees receive Earned Safe and Sick Time and enjoy holidays off, except during peak harvest periods (including the possibility of Labor Day). Work hours may be adjusted based on weather conditions at the direction of senior management.
